IVF Cyprus

Embryo donation Cyprus is a form of third party assisted reproduction. It is defined as the giving of any remaining embryos after a couple’s IVF treatment to another person or couple for implantation. Donation is followed by placement of donated embryos into the recipient’s uterus to establish a pregnancy. The woman who carries and gives birth to the baby is considered the legal mother of the child.

We offer all embryos coming from healthy couples that remained at our disposal through the embryo adoption program.

Usually, embryos are donated anonymously after a pregnancy has been achieved and brought to full term. The embryos come from healthy couples who are younger than 35 years and decided to have no more children. Sometimes, the embryos are a product of a double donation program (egg  donation Cyprus & sperm donation Cyprus).

Any remaining embryos undergo a cryopreservation process that preserves their quality. Thanks to the advancement in the cryopreservation techniques, embryos reach a 100% survival rate.

Embryo Adoption Pros

Giving embryos to other couples to help them conceive a baby is considered an act of kindness as it provides couples with a family building option. Moreover, embryo donation Cyprus brings frozen embryos to life. To adopt means to take care of a human being whose biological parents were unable to. We do our best to transfer embryos that are compatible with the patient’s blood type and physical characteristics.

Embryo Adoption Cyprus Process

Frozen embryo adoption is an affordable, simple and painless fertility treatment at our prominent IVF clinic in Cyprus, euroCARE IVF.

Everyone who is considering donating will undergo medical evaluation, infectious and genetic screening and compulsory psychological counseling to discuss the emotional and legal aspects of embryo adoption.

At this point, the woman’s health will be evaluated and a gynaecological examination will be done. Next, a ultrasound scan will be performed along with a painless catheter test. This is to choose the best catheter for transfer. Finally, you will receive indications on how to prepare your uterus for implantation and a date for the thawing and transfer of the embryos.

The preparation of the uterine lining will take a few days. Once the lining reaches the optimal thickness, which usually is 7 mm, you will be transferred one or a few embryos.

After two weeks, a hCG pregnancy test needs to be done. If you get pregnant, this will be considered a normal pregnancy. You will need to proceed with the hormonal therapy as advised by our IVF specialist. During pregnancy, you will have regular check-ups by your local gynecologist.

Planning for Embryo Donation Cyprus

Embryo donation at euroCARE IVF is defined when a single woman or couple cannot produce viable egg and/or sperm — and egg donation and sperm donation is completed to have the baby they desire.

With embryo donation at the top fertility clinic in North Cyprus, euroCARE IVF, our patient coordinators are here to guide you every step of the way.

At our fertility center in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, we are helping hundreds of couples enjoy parenthood. Our embryo donation program is centered on extraordinary IVF success rates to achieve successful, positive pregnancies

Once you have selected both your egg and sperm donor the medical process will begin. The egg donor will require daily injections and regular monitoring to develop her eggs. When the eggs are matured, an egg collection is performed. Sperm will also be prepared the same day. The eggs are then fertilized with the sperm using ICSI and the resulting embryos monitored by our advanced laboratory.

Our patients only need to spend a few days in North Cyprus for the transfer procedure as long as you can have scans in your home country to check the lining development.

If you desire — we can also include the Preimplantation Genetic Screening (PGS) — if you wish to know the gender of your embryos before they are transferred to the womb. Our clinic can also freeze any remaining embryos you have in case you are thinking about a sibling in the future.
